What is the difference between Pre-Sale and General Public tickets?

Purchasing during the Pre-sale gives you access to discounted Early Bird tickets before the higher priced General Public tickets are released. There is only a limited number of pre-sale tickets available and once these sell out the price will rise.

Will tickets sell out?

There is always a chance that the event will sell out in which case no more tickets will be sold. We recommend purchasing early so you can rest assured you will be able to attend.

This year your Soundwave ticket gives you so much more than just entry into the festival. Your ticket will be loaded onto a Soundwave branded plastic card which must be posted to you, and will give you access to special Soundwave deals before, during and after Soundwave 2016.

When will my order be processed?

Your order will be processed in the next 3 days. We will notify you if we are unable to process your payment for any reason and you will have an opportunity to resubmit your order for 48 hours of the notice that we could not process your payment. Please be patient while we process your order.

Why wasn’t my credit card charged?

Due to the high volume of sales your order will be processed within 3 days. You may not see a charge on your credit card immediately following your purchase due to this delay in the processing of your order. We will notify you when we have successfully processed your order or if we are unable to process your order for any reason.

Why didn’t I receive an email from you?

Due to the high volume of sales your order may not be processed for up to 3 days. It may take up to 3 days for that email to be sent. We also advise checking the spam folder in your email as sometimes automated emails are sent there mistakenly

Where is my receipt?

Once we have processed your order you will be able to go to the purchase history page of your Eventopia account to view and print your receipt. This is not a ticket and will not grant you access to the event.

When will I get my tickets?

You will receive your Soundwave tickets within 6 weeks of placing your order. If this time period has passed and you still have not received your tickets, please contact us at help@eventopia.co so that we can reissue them for you.

Will tickets be sold at the event?

If the event does not sell out in advance, tickets will be available at the box office at a higher price on show dates. We encourage everyone to purchase tickets in advance so that you don’t risk missing out on the fun.

Can I purchase a ticket from a third party?

Eventopia is the exclusive ticket seller of Soundwave 2016. Official tickets can only be purchased through Eventopia. Eventopia does not support any purchasing via third party websites or bidding sites. It is at your own risk that you use these types of websites and we do not take responsibility for any issues that may arise from using these facilities.

How do I get a refund for Soundwave 2016?

All customers will receive a full refund for this cancelled event. To speed up this process, please email soundwave@eventopia.co and provide your order number, full name and email address used to purchase tickets. Refunds will be processed within 21 business days of receiving your email.

Customers will receive a confirmation email once their refund has successfully been processed by Eventopia.

I want a refund for Soundwave 2016 but my Credit Card has been replaced. How do I get my refund?

All refunds are credited to the original Credit card that was used to purchase tickets. If the Credit card originally used has been replaced, please email soundwave@eventopia.co with your bank details (Account Name, BSB and Account Number) as these orders will need to be manually refunded.

Please note: if you received a ticket as a transfer, the refund will go back to the original purchaser and you will need to obtain your refund from them.
